Adult Orthodontic Treatment

This refers to “full braces” on non-growing patients. Adult orthodontics usually refers to patients who are 18 years old and over. Teeth can be moved at any age. However, when skeletal growth is finished and the orthodontist can no longer influence jaw growth, certain orthodontic problems are addressed in different ways than in growing adolescents.
